1975 Cypress Group

The original Cypress lineup from September of 1975. Left to right are Al Bryant (Guitars/vocals), Jeff Cunningham(standing...Lead vocals/keys), Mark Fincannon (Drums/vocals), Ed Swinson (Bass guitar/vocals). AL and Ed are still playing together 30+ years later...wow!

The original circa 1974 Cypress Sticker and a newspaper article about the band from September of 1975. They drew 1000 people to one concert, not bad for a bunch of 14 year olds!

Ed is 14

This is the oldest photo of Ed Swinson we can find. It was taken in late 1974 while playing in the original Cypress. He was 14 years old at the time.
